There were three ways to order contact-free, and our food was ready in 15 minutes after we placed our order. The quality was amazing. The vegan larb was outstanding, and the fried rice was cooked perfectly with flavorful tofu. My wife said the pad Thai was excellent, better than anywhere else we have tried on the island (except Opal's). Everything tasted fresh and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, they use sealable compostable containers for the food. We will definitely be returning again!
I do not recommend this restaurant. We ordered takeout to bring back to our hotel. Unfortunately, my food did not appear to be vegan as it appeared to have chicken in it, so I was unable to eat it. The prices were high for the quality of food, and we waited for nearly 20 minutes. Our friends who ordered from other restaurants in the food court received their meals much quicker than us. When we inquired about the delay, the staff member did not seem to care and was unfriendly. Additionally, the staff member was not wearing a mask, which is concerning during the COVID-19 pandemic. I suggest choosing another restaurant if you are seeking vegan Thai food, as there are plenty of other options in Honolulu that cater to vegans and provide faster service. My wife and I have three dishes here: the tofu pad thai, the vegan larbe and tofu fried rice. there were three contact-free ways to order and as soon as we order our order in our food was ready in 15 minutes. what quality? amazing. the vegan larbe is to die, except nothing had to die for them the fried rice was perfectly cooked, and the tofu was very tasteful. my wife told me that the pad thai was excellent, better than any other thing we had on the island (except opals.) all tasted fresh and surpassed our expectations. to complete everything, they use closable compostable containers for food! we will come back!
I wouldn't recommend going here. we have a cash to eat in the hotel. my eating didn't seem to be vegan, as it looked like it had huh, so I couldn't eat it. eating was a bit expensive for what it was and we waited almost 20 minutes. our friends who had ordered from other places in the food dish had all their food before us. When we asked why it took so long, the man did not seem to care there and was not nice about it. he also did not wear a mask that really affects me in covid times. I would choose another place if they were looking for vegan Thai food as honolulu seems to have many places that actually serve vegans and do it in time. updated by the previous review on 2020-11-08
My wife and I tried three dishes at this restaurant: the Tofu Pad Thai, the vegan larvae, and tofu fried rice. There were three contactless ordering options available, and our food was ready in just 15 minutes after placing our order. The quality was amazing. The vegan larvae dish was delicious, and the best part - no animals were harmed in the making of it. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, and the tofu was flavorful. My wife loved the Pad Thai, saying it was better than any she has had on the island so far (except Opals). Everything tasted fresh and exceeded our expectations. We were also impressed that they used compostable containers for the food. We will definitely be returning.
