Ambrosia Island - Pearland

This is an excellent spot for tasty Jamaican cuisine in the Pearland area. My favorite dish is the Curry Goat, which is consistently spot on! They also offer Jamaican soda, and the lively reggae music sets the perfect atmosphere. I have to mention that the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

The food was excellent! The casual lighting created a pleasant atmosphere. My only criticism is that I wished the ambience was a bit more vibrant and that there were more staff available. The cashier was very friendly, but they also served as the hostess, waitress, and cook. I would definitely recommend this place for a taste of authentic Caribbean cuisine. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I recently stopped by this restaurant on my way from NASA, and I was blown away! Everything about the place is fantastic, from the music to the welcoming host and the kitchen's energy. We were a party of four, and every dish we ordered—goat, chicken, oxtail, and pork—was delicious and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is so inviting that you just want to stay forever. I definitely give it a thumbs up!

I eat here almost weekly. I moved from Atlanta a few months ago and I have to say this is the best Jamaican food I had, time. The best of Pearland, Houston and Atlanta. I usually get the curry or jerk chicken and the sides are always tasteful. Pattys, both beef and chicken, must have. The Restaraunt is also very clean and welcoming and the service through Door Dash is also good when you are too busy to go. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant.

This is the best jerk chicken i have had in houston. The meat is seasoned and barbecued to perfection and the typical sides of rice/peas with cabbage and plantains. All of the sides were season and cooked well. I have had a lot of jerk chicken in my life during my travels to Jamaica and other cities and this meal were certainly in the top 5 of the many that i have had.
