The food and service are great! The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4-star review is because the dining room has an intimate, soft dinner vibe, but once the dining room filled about half of the tables, it got loud. It was difficult to talk to across the table loud. So I gave it a 4-star because I didn't feel the vibe matched the experience/expectations. Outside of that, our server was knowledgeable, food met expectations, and we enjoyed our dinner. We had reservations for my husband's birthday, and the service was great, the drinks were great. The food was just okay. I thought the restaurant was comparable to Mastros or Steak 48, but I was wrong. The steak was bland, the snapper was bland and drowned in some creamed sauce, a bit too much. The crab cake appetizer was amazing but the food was not worthy of 300 dollars tab. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Let me start by saying that the service and atmosphere here is very good, but that’s not what brings you back. The food is what makes you want to come back, and unfortunately, for me, I will not be returning anytime soon. I ordered a dry aged steak, asked for medium, but it was a little over cooked and quite chewy. Flavor was not flattering at all. My wife ordered their regular wet aged filet mignon, medium, and I thought it was decent. The appetizers we ordered were bacon wrapped scallops and they were overcooked and chewy, a bit dry. We also ordered the pork belly and this was also very chewy and nothing special. Lastly, we ordered their crème brûlée bread pudding, and there was nothing crème brûlée or pudding about it. It was basically just a raisin bread with a little sauce on it. I will say the old fashioned and carajillo I drank were quite delicious, but that’s not bringing me back. Overall, we spent $300 for dinner for two and it was nowhere near worth it. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Don't waste your money. I dont mind going to expensive restaurants if the food is good, but this was garbage. How could all 5 people at our table not like their food? They even ran out of bread. We waited 20 minutes for a table and the place was empty. Go to Pappas Steak House for the best steaks and service.
