The beef in the salad was very poor grade for $14. The soup had 4 button mushrooms and one thin slice of chicken for $7. I won't be ordering from here again.
Mai Thai, not to be confused with the tropical cocktail, a mai tai. This relatively new Thai restaurant with the witty name is located right around the corner from Cinemark in the space that used to house Fuddrucker's years ago. Strangely enough, they're closed on both Monday and Tuesday but I ended up checking them out for dinner on a Thursday. The decor inside is nice and exceeded my expectations. The menu features your standard Thai fare and I went with the basic yet classic pad Thai with beef. Traditionally, pad Thai consists of noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, crushed peanuts, a lime, and a protein. Mai Thai's interpretation has regular onions too. Even though the ingredient isn't listed on the menu. And we're talking a good deal of onions. This became an issue for me because I hate onions. They absolutely do add flavor to cooking but I can't stand the slimy texture. To make matters worse, they look just like noodles when sauced so it was a bit of a hassle for me to take out the onions. This is a situation where the restaurant has to do a better job of listing ingredients on their menu. In my case, I'm just not a fan of one of the ingredients. For others, it could be a food allergy which becomes a lot bigger of a deal than what I experienced. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. Mai Thai has the potential to become a four-star restaurant with better execution.

Ok so in all fairness I have given this place at least 10 tries and the food is really good so good in fact I have suggested to friends with the side note that the staff is absolutely so lazy and I'd you are trying to be quick don't go. With that said it's Sunday at 330 pm no one in the restaurant 4 girls working and all are on their phones. I had to get up 3 times and walk to the table they were sitting at and ask for 1. Her to take my order 2. For her to give me a refill and then finally for her to give me my entree because she had brought my husband and sons food and they were don't eating and we were waiting on my entree. Every time I had to interrupt their phone time.
We eat here often and have loved everything we have gotten. The owner is very nice and chats with us when we come in. They have a lot of choices but the Pho is our favorite!
