Skeets Barbeque Of Silverlake

Test this place a few weeks ago with the middle day and served the best cut bark sandwich I had in years. the wobbler was a great note. the brot was right, but the braut. awesome! the sauce is incredibly delicious! decided to try it again today and it was excellent again! served hot and cut right in front of them. Great people, great eating I would give 6 stars if I could! also I got a small number of pork ribs and they were very tasty and fall out of the bone! not over cooked, but with the right amount bbq. these great people know how to bbq! I would post a picture, but they won't leave i ate it all!

We need bbq police in Houston and surrounding areas, the stuff these people sell ain't tasty or BBQ. Not uneatable, I was able to eat the food. Did not have to throw it away. Atmosphere is strange, two lady's act like they are just there, customer service is nonexistent.

I read some bad reviews about this place, but the food is really good. I served 25 people at Easter and catered with Skeets and everyone loved it-especially their side dishes. Sometimes when I go I order a plate of 5 sides only. It's wonderful food. And yes, I know how good food tastes. I live near 3 Killen's restaurants and eat at them regularly.

Extremely poor! I wanted carved pork they did not have so that I would drink for pork replacement ribs I had 4 of them with mac and I would be a zero and koleslaw and a fountain for 20.00 I could have much better food at kills grill for this price! I will not come back

Once upon a time, this BBQ joint was great. The customer service has never been good but the food was. The online menu says that a Chopped Beef/Brisket Sandwich is $4.75. I just placed a phone order for 4 sandwiches and the total when I paid was $37.89... That is $8.50 per sandwich. I called to speak with the manager and he had no explanation as to why the prices were different. I then asked when the owner would be in. The Manager said he didn 't know. The best advice I can give is to avoid this place. The food today was not great. Very bland. $8.50 for that sandwich?? Never again!
