Texas Roadhouse - Pearland

I visited the restaurant two days ago with my family for a meal before my wisdom teeth removal, and I just wanted to share how much I appreciated having Roberto as our server. He noticed that I didn’t like the peach tea and promptly brought me water instead. He was also incredibly attentive to our table. I was grateful that they accommodated our request to not sit in the small room at the front; a kind and friendly lady took us to a different table. My mom and I can be a bit particular about our preferences, but I always try to be understanding and considerate, knowing that working in food service can be stressful. Overall, everyone was wonderful and made our evening truly enjoyable!

The host seemed to be promoting the appetizers, likely as part of a directive, since they were prominently featured near the entrance. I ordered a mixed drink with a shooter, but it tasted like there was hardly any alcohol in it—very weak overall. The first basket of rolls was warm and delicious, just like I remembered. For my main course, I chose the country fried chicken with cream gravy, accompanied by a Caesar salad and fresh vegetables. The chicken was flavorful but slightly overcooked. The salad was average, though I appreciated having the dressing on the side. However, the fresh vegetables, which included some broccoli florets and a few carrot slices, seemed overcooked—possibly even frozen—and tasted like they had just been reheated in a microwave. On the bright side, we received another basket of rolls, and they were fantastic, especially with the delicious cinnamon butter. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The manager even came around to check on us, asking how everything was and encouraging us to reach out if we needed anything. It was refreshing to have that personal touch. Overall, if the food could be improved a bit, this place would easily earn a five-star rating!

It was quite busy, but the food was excellent and the beer was nice and cold. Our server was very attentive, although it took a little while to get our beer due to the crowd. Overall, it was definitely better than what the Google rating suggested.

Still love this location, great food with excellent service. If you come here ask for Franco to attend to you. Hands down Best attention to detail I've seen by far. Cup never went low and never ran out of bread rolls. Giving this location and Franco 5 star.
