The Gripper Kitchen - Pearland

My husband and I LOVE coming here! It’s always clean, cooked fresh, professional and DELICIOUS.

The food was so good. I had the sliders, they were hot, fresh and flavor in every bite. The grilled onions were perfect and even the pickle was crispy. The touch of parm cheese on top added to the sweet toasted bun. I had sweet potatoe fries and the added bonus was a Tequila strawberry lemon drop made by the chef. Outside of food customer service was great. I didn't know what i wanted and the young man at the counter helped me make a good selection. Idk why Playlist they had going bt the music selection was on point jamming 90s R&B......only thing that wld have made this experience better is sitting on the patio!

The food always smacks in this spot. The owner is cool comes out to the tables everytime we go, to check to see how everything is chops it up with us.. Let me tell you that lobster gripper, grilled chicken pita and those peach cobbler tacos.. Is a must try .. Definitely will do more business lunches here... Went in for a late night meal at 8:45 pm.They close at 9. I was met with a warm welcome from smiling staff. That was nice.I was not rushed and dined in because I just couldn't wait to get home and try everything. I was undecided, but Tony helped me decide and even made a special order of the sliders with one fish and one chicken. I ordered the Parmesan fries also.For the drink, l asked for a drink with Tequila and Tony did his thing. The presentation was perfect, the food taste was PHENOMENAL, the service was EXCEPTIONAL! I would give this place 10 s if I could. I always show patronage to black owned businesses, but this experience was my pleasure! The owners are so pleasant, accommodating, and provide top notch service! To top it off, the food is Stellar! I am so happy The Gripper Kitchen is in my area and I hope this will become a staple for great food in the Greater Houston/ Pearland area.

The food was superb. We had an assortment of entrees and I couldn’t pick a favorite. My 3 year old grandson chanted “I want tacos”. Chef Tony overheard him and made him tacos. It wasn’t even taco Tuesday. I will be definitely be back.
