While there might be a bit of a wait, the food is fantastic, and the portions are generous. It's on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it. I highly recommend the grilled shrimp tacos. The service here is the best in town, and the atmosphere is relaxing, even though it's busy and bustling. I ordered the chicken tacos. The plate came and was visually pleasing, but I didn't care for the chicken. I guess I was expecting shredded breast meat, but that's not how they make their tacos. The chicken is dark meat, chunks, and pieces. There was fat and connective tissue. I don't like biting into that, so I moved most of the meat to the side. The avocado was fresh and perfectly ripe. Diced cucumber and tomatoes paired nicely with the mozzarella cheese and crema. I will be back, but I'll order something else.

I was extremely disappointed with the $50 New York prime steak. I would estimate that about 35% of the steak was fat, and it had no flavor whatsoever. The service was terrible; I had to wait 45 minutes for my food. The waitstaff hardly spoke any English. The only positive aspect of this place is that they offer a military discount. If you’re looking for a flavorful steak in Pecos, I would suggest going elsewhere. Price range per person: $50–100.
