West Dublin Pub - Pekin

Very great place! Very delicious food. Their cheese curds are on a whole other level. They have a pool table which makes this place great for me and some friends to go get lunch, have some drinks, and play some pool. Very friendly staff! I keep hearing around that the owners might be closing it down (hope it's not true! . My one and only negative I have is that I've been going here for a few years and the menu hasn't really changed. I'd love to see some new menu items! I think the maybe a new burger or two and some new wraps/sandwiches would help spice things up a little bit!

West Dublin holds a special place in my heart. The staff is always helpful will go out of their way to make your experience great. The bartenders and staff are amazing but Sam is one of the best in the area. Her expertise behind the bar is unmatched. By far one of my favorite places to visit. A great gem in the crazy town of Pekin. Illinois still sucks but this place takes the edge off.

Meh. Food was decent but service was hopelessly slow. And no, they weren't crowded. Or even busy. Two, maybe three other tables and it took 25 minutes to even acknowledge we were there. Edit for reply. We were greeted when we walked in. The hostess said our server would be right with us. She wasn't. We waited and waited and just about decided to leave when she showed. This was Saturday July 16th. It was our first visit. More than likely our last.

The food was excellent! I highly recommend the set potatoe crab cakes and cheese curds as an appetizer. The service was spot on and very polite!

We had lunch here to celebrate our second COVID booster. Hannah was attentive and had helpful suggestions. The onion rings were like eating onion donuts, not to be missed. P.J. had the Reuben and proclaimed it outstanding. I had the Shepard's pie, and it was also exceptional. We'll definitely be going back soon. Great atmosphere, too.
