While my family has stayed in the area, I’ve personally moved three times over the past 20 years, and I’m so happy to see that Latin American Grill remains a beloved spot for great food and family gatherings. When I told my daughter, who was about to hang out with her friends, that I was heading to LAG, she almost canceled on them, dramatically exclaiming, "Awe daaaaad... why didn’t you tell me that’s where you were going?!" To my delight, the interior has been beautifully updated once again, with seating options suitable for families of all sizes. There’s plenty of comfortable seating at the counter as well as outside in the shaded area (complete with fans!). The Cuban coffee is always perfect—just the right amount of sugar and cinnamon! I was in the mood for a combination of meat and shrimp, and although it wasn’t on the menu, Lourdes assured me, "We can make that for you!" (Big hugs to Lourdes!) I absolutely love this place! #LocalGem #GoodEats #theresthatfoodie #AuthenticLatinFood
Fantastic local spot! The prices are quite affordable, ranging from cheap to moderate. They consistently offer lunch specials for around $9, depending on the day of the week. The ambiance is lovely, and I would rate the food a solid 8 out of 10. Parking has generally been easy to find; I recommend using the street-facing spaces. Just a heads-up: the spots right in front of the restaurant have parking meters. I’ve never seen anyone checking them, but I prefer to play it safe and put in some quarters anyway, just to be cautious!
This was my first and last time ordering delivery from this restaurant. To start, they offer the worst pan con bistec in South Florida. My plate was filled with overcooked, greasy fries, stale Cuban bread, and unseasoned carne asada (which is meant to be bistec). I paid nearly $10 for a sandwich that lacked lettuce, tomato, seasoning, and soft bread. I’d much rather spend two hours driving to Miami, waiting outside someone's grandmother's house, and paying $30 for a quality Cuban sandwich. The only saving grace was your chicken soup, which was decent, along with your signature stale bread. Overall, I would give this place a 0.5 out of 5 stars.
Love this place. Food taste like a homecooked meal. Service is quick and friendly waitresses. Definitely coming back. Gracias
The breaded chicken was phenomenal. i used to get the fingers a long time ago but it tasted different this time around. and the portion sizes were huge. the wait is the worst part.
