Sal's Italian - Pembroke Pines

I regret to say that my experiences at this restaurant have been a bit inconsistent. Although the staff is friendly, there were times when I had to wait longer than expected for my food and the bill. However, the food itself is quite enjoyable. I can’t quite pinpoint if it’s the flavors or the preparation, but one dish that consistently impresses are the meatball appetizers. You only get two, but they're substantial in size and generously topped with cheese!

This is the most disappointing restaurant in Sal. I've placed numerous orders over the past five years, and nearly every time, there's been an issue—either they get the order wrong or forget to include something. They also tend to close early, and the staff's attitude, both in person and over the phone, is quite poor. The corporate office should seriously investigate this location. I've tried many other restaurants, both through work and visits to friends and family, and this one is a complete letdown in comparison. I will no longer be ordering takeout or delivery from this place.

I ordered a pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. When I arrived to pick it up, I received a pizza that was entirely cheese. I had specifically requested a different order. When the second pizza came out of the oven, it was accidentally dropped on the floor. I asked for a refund and a replacement pizza due to the inconvenience, but the manager refused my request. Overall, my experience was very disappointing.

I had a hard week and wanted Italian. I loved Sals. I ordered the sampler. Nothing had taste or spices. No garlic or or oregano taste. The rolls were the same, without taste and half size. Stauffers frozen has more taste. I don't like to leave this kind of review, but feel like I have to.

Outstanding food and service. Not familiar with the area but I had to run some errands in the neighborhood and my kids wanted pizza. The pizza was delicious and I got the penne allá vodka with chicken and shrimp. The rolls were fresh and hot and I loved everything about the place. I?ll definitely be back
