Were told to collect at 5.45, half hour later being kept waiting outside in the freezing cold as customers are STILL not permitted to enter premises post Covid!! we finally got out food. Paid quite a high price to arrive home with incorrect item in order. The food that was correct was fresh and tasty but will not use again. Disappointed and irritated.
Appalling venue, I travel around specifically to chipshops and have experienced a wide range of horror shows and to be honest this is one of the worst, horrible staff, cold food etc. I'm bored of this place already
Ordered a short list of food. (Lunch time rush hour) Drove 30 minutes to collect, there and back, to work with said food. Missing 2 portions of chips and a cod and chips. I drove back to pick up the missing items and was told I had to pay for them. Even though I was sure I gave him the full, correct order. However he said I almost never make mistakes and refused to give me what I asked for. His list didn 't match my own list. So obviously, I was wrong, because he almost never makes mistakes . Also said he read back to me the order, which didn 't happen because if he had, I would have picked up on the 3 portions of chips and cod missing from said Small order. I work in the same general workplace, and if a customer misses something from an order, whether it is their fault or my own, I would always give the customer what they ordered. That 's what a business should do. As stated at the time I haven 't just driven 30 minutes there and back again, for a laugh. Nor am I here trying to rob you of £12 I don 't care if it 's £12 or £1,200. If you missed something off my order, it 's down to you to fix that error. Not mine. It probably cost me £12 in fuel... As his list didn 't match my own, I was made out to be the liar. Which was disgusting in my opinion. You don 't, or shouldn 't treat your paying customers like that. Especially over £12. I would of happily payed the difference if he had approached it differently. I.e: not make it out as though he is never wrong.
Hubby ordered pie and chips, I had polled pork dirty fries which was stunning. Service was quick and pleasant. Food was hot and loads of it.
My partner and child had fish and chips that was delicious. I ordered chicken and chips and the chicken was inedible. It had obviously been under the lights for way too long, it was dry and crispy and I regretted choosing it. Other food we bought was fine
