Around 7:15, I called to check on my order and was told that my food was ready and waiting for the delivery driver to return. I was asked if I still wanted my meal, and of course, I did because I was hungry! At 8:25, my meal finally arrived after a long wait. Despite the delay, Mr. Wong's still charged me full price, even though it wasn't my fault. In the 3 hours it took for my meal to arrive, I could have easily made it myself from the freezer. However, the main issue was the long wait and full price charged for the delayed service.
I really enjoy this Chinese restaurant, but every time I try to order through the website, it says that you are closed even though I can call and place an order. It can be quite frustrating! However, I still cannot fault the food.
The Fish and Chips at this restaurant were not very impressive. The chips were reminiscent of cardboard and the fish was overly greasy and soggy. While it was edible, it's not a place I would choose to revisit.
The food is always amazingly hot. This time he ordered just after opening and food arrived at 7.30pm. Won’t be ordering from here for a very long time.
Came to the area on holiday and wanted a Chinese meal, took a chance as all the local area Chinese restaurants had similar good and bad reviews. I wasn’t disappointed with this restaurant, a lot of the meals were as I would expect some slightly better and some slightly worse but overall very tasty, great value and was ready in 10 minutes for collection. Hope this helps if you find yourself in a similar situation
