The Bristol Trader - Pembrokeshire

Oh my, the food at OMD is absolutely delicious and the service is so personal. This local pub exudes class. They couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and we will definitely be returning soon.

During a busy night of Christmas parties, it's understandable that the restaurant might be busy. However, we experienced a nearly 2-hour wait for our food. Despite the long wait, we would have been more understanding if we had been informed and properly taken care of. It was a festive atmosphere and we were happy chatting with friends, but when we asked about the wait time due to our two-hour table slot, we were met with patronizing remarks from an older woman with a ponytail. She blamed us for booking online and implied that the long wait was our fault.

Service was fab, food was ok, but the evening was spoiled by a band who were too loud for such a small room. All we wanted was to talk to friends and enjoy some Christmas music. The band set up while we were eating … 121212 down the mic, feedback on the speakers, we had to leave and I’m sure other tables were going too. Went home with a migraine and 2 days later and my ears are still hurting!

Visited the Bristol Trader on remembrance Sunday for lunch. We received a beautiful, tasty and freshly cooked meal with plenty of assorted vegetables. Food was served hot and accompanied with a jug of extra gravey. We would highly recommend the Bristol Trader for quality food and friendly staff. Will definitely tell all our friends and family how good this place is and cannot wait to go back.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago and was very disappointed. I had dined there with my family a few years ago and we all had a great experience, so we decided to go back when we were in the area visiting family again. However, I will not be making that decision next time. The service was slow, and after waiting an hour and a half for our food, it was clear that it had been left under a heater before serving. The atmosphere was not as friendly as it used to be. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
