Their concept is eat as much as you want and pay by donation . You can definitely feel the food they cook it with love . My personal favorite are Chapati , Rassam Soup and Mango Lassi .
Visit on 22 July 2017: Went there for the daily Pay What You Want lunch buffet. According to my mum, the spread is less and not as good as it used to be. Still, food is fresh, well seasoned and balanced. A nice peaceful Al fresco dining area by the garden, nice and compassionate vibe in a residential area. Nothing fancy, not a huge selection of food, just home cooked style Indian vegetarian food. Helpers here are all volunteers too, and they are friendly and hospitable toward everyone. Parking usually isn 't a problem. Worth a visit if you 're in the area.
The food here is absolutely delicious. We went two days in a row for the lunch buffet (different food both days). It’s now a fixed price excellent value. We could not have been made to feel more welcome and would highly recommend anyone to visit.
Very much a project fuelled by love and compassion. Similar to other volunteer based restaurants, this is all about giving more than just receiving. Currently there are two separate dining options at lunchtime; · Buffet pay as one sees fit · Set lunch RM9 per person, it's practically a Thali with drinks and dessert included. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The dining area is spacious and airy, well covered from the midday sun. There's a shoes off policy as you enter. Once you arrive at the main gate entrance you need to walk a bit further in, away from the street and walk directly to the back of the main building, to the right hand side of the stage performance area.
