Pan Mai Restaurant - Penetanguishene

Ordered in early afternoon to eat at dinner time! The food was delicious!! Two #10!! Enough for us to have two meals! Chicken balls were large and delicious! Large pieces of chicken in the Chow Mein and fried rice!! This is during Covid close down!! We will return!!

Avoid at all costs. Atrocious food, you are better off getting your meal from the frozen section in a grocery store. If I could give it a negative score I would.

I ordered their #5 combo with sweet and sour chicken balls on a take out order. When I opened the bag there were no chicken balls at all. And the chow main and rice had the texture of food the had been reheated several time. It was not fresh. My wife ordered the #1 combo with sweet and sour spare ribs. Surprisingly, the ribs were there, but over cooked to crispness. Again none of the food was fresh. I had asked the server to put plastic cutlery in the bag, as we planned to make a picnic of the meal. There was no plastic cutlery in the bag, and no napkins. The food was bad, the value was bad as there were items missing, and the service was bad. The server was cordial enough, but he missed so much I can’t give anything but a terrible review. The good thing is if they treat all their customers like this, they won’t be in business long, I’m never going back!

Together with my sister and her husband, my mom, my son and his wife, their 3 year old and 2 week old and my husband and I, we went for a Sunday family visit dinner and were not disappointed. We started with won ton soup for everyone, then spring rolls and for the main course everyone picked a different dish and we shared. The won ton soup was delicious. Lots of won tons and a wonderful broth. The spring rolls were very good and the individual dishes that had been chosen were excellent. There was more than enough food for everyone with lots of leftovers going home with the youngest attendees and their children. Very impressed with the quality, quantity and how piping hot the food was when served. Excellent service and a great atmosphere for conversation and visiting. We have had Pan Mai deliver to our home many times, but the eating in experience was superb.

Amazing Asian cuisine and first rate friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed the ‘dinner for two’ with the breaded ribs exchanged for General Tao Chicken. Of note was the incredible homemade from scratch wonton soup. Next time in Penetanguishine, we know where to go!!
