However, we noticed that the restaurant does not serve other Portuguese customers brot and a lot butter, it could be. due to the fact that I and my girl friend are looking for a typical tourist and the red hemd waiter want to robb us.
I stopped by here at the recommendation of a local resident. The food did not disappoint. The mackerel were grilled perfectly, the molho was done exactly as I remembered my avó made it, and the salad was delicious, and the desert to die for.
Just had lunch at this restaurant today. Without reading any reviews, we walked by, read the menu and decided to try it out. We were immensely impressed, having ordered the fish caldeirada for 2 people, which at some restaurants, can be a way of...using other than the best fish. It was not the case here, the fish, in my opinion, was very fresh. The service was excellent, the ambience and decor was first class. I would recommend this establishment, certainly for fresh fish, for meat, I cannot comment, plus the prices were quite acceptable and also with a fairly comprehensive selection of wines. Try it, I am sure that you won't be disappointed. By the way it was our first visit.
4 of us came to dinner after playing golf. I had otopus with whistle and garnel followed by a cheesecake. all cooked by fresh and homemade. delicious. this is a family-run restaurant and very traditional, at the opposite end of swanky. I would come back!
