Royal Bar Restaurant - Penicuik

Been out for a walk with the dog and we were looking for somewhere for a quick lunch and dog friendly. We were firstly welcomed by Jess (please forgive me if I have the name wrong) the pub spaniel and equally by the Bar Manager. We ordered from the snack menu, toastie with choice of chips and chilli chicken wrap with choice of chips, the chilli chicken and cheese wrap got a muffled nod of approval with a cheesy thumbs up and my toastie was everything you want in a cheese, ham and red onion toastie, including some of the best ham I’ve ever tasted. Thumbs up from me too, thank you the Royal Hotel Bar well done (I was told that the toilets were really clean too 10/10)
