Winking Lizard Tavern - Peninsula

This restaurant was quite disappointing. I ordered beers for my husband and me, but when the bill arrived, we found out that the waitress had charged us for a more expensive beer instead of the one we ordered. The pizza was completely flavorless, and the fish sandwich was massive but lacking in taste. The waitress didn't check on us at all, and my husband had to refill his water himself from his bottle. We had heard positive things about Winking Lizard, but perhaps this location is the exception. Overall, it was not a good experience, and we cannot recommend it.

Food is great, service is exceptional, the atmosphere is relaxed. May be a wait on weekends to get any table, or a stool at the bar. Singles, couples, families, and groups are all welcome here. Tourist drink specials may include a glass with some selections. We went twice in a weekend as tourists.

I have been here with my boyfriend Kevin twice, thus far, both times were very enjoyable and the food was delicious. (also the company, love you baby) I would recommend it to everyone. The area is fantastic as well, due to the small shops park like setting.

We have been coming here for almost a decade. Love the location in the valley. Server was extraordinary. Unfortunately the food has been slipping the last couple years. My wings were not near as good as normal. Small and barely any sauce. Asked for more sauce and was charged. The beer was past its best buy date. Popcorn was awesome as always.

Very disappointed in the wings. In the past the wings have been dripping in sauce. This time, the wings were nearly bare with some sauce. In the picture we tried adding the BBQ sauce from the table, but it was not the right flavor. When we asked our waitress we were told we could buy more sauce... Since they inventory the sauce in the kitchen she was not allowed to give us more without charging us. I paid $18 for a 20 pack of boneless wings, and you would expect them to be covered in sauce! We won 't be back.
