Chopt Creative Salad Co. - Penn Wynne

I love the feature to "create your own" its like being able to make it yourself without having to actually make it yourself. I order from here quite frequently and the ingredients are always fresh and they make what I request every time. The only item I would not recommend is the Sparkling Water Raspberry Lime none of us liked it. The taste is very bitter. I thought this would be a flavored water and it is, but it tastes horrible the flavor is almost absent and all your taste is raw seltzer. I will skip it next time and get regular spring water.

Ive been eating here for years and in all that time it has been great. The past few orders, however, were so bad that I doubt Ill ever order from them again. I always get the Craft Your Own Wrap and Ive never had reason to complain. The last three times, however, the wraps were an inedible mess. I ordered one wrap that included an egg. When I got it, the entire egg was at the top of the wrap, not mixed in with everything else. The same thing happened when I got an avocado: it was placed all in the bottom, smushed together with the lettuce making a slimy mess. It was so bad I almost threw up. Finally, there must have been a change with their chicken, as it was now large gray cubes with any flavor gone altogether. All three were inedible messes that were sloppily put together. Ill be ordering elsewhere from now on.

Parts of the salad were actually so bad and so disappointing that I called personally to the store and spoke to the manager Dave because I was so excited about this restaurant coming to Bryn Mawr, and it was so disappointing!!! Ive been to other locations and its fantastic. Several of the issues were that the extras such as egg whites or the beets were giant clumps not chopped up at all I received in my salad 8 yes count 12345678half hard boiled egg whites Not chopped up and also bad they were rubbery and tasteless. And also a giant scoop of the purple beets that were not chopped whole big pieces way past their prime. The hearts of palm was also in edible it was hard and tasteless. And the bread was stale! I go to sweetgreen or order from there several times a week and dont worry Sweet Green youre not losing me to CHOPT! 

Wonderful as always. I will order this again. Its such a big Classic Cobb Salad
