Contribuisci feedbackUnder new management with a new name and the food has improved. They now have a wood-fired pizza oven for those who enjoy pizza. Other dishes on the Menu are to be expected - steak sandwiches and hamburgers, steak with salad and chips. The children's menu looked very adequate. It is not an inspiring or extensive menu but we found the quality to be good. The lass who took the phone reservation - and did not record it - needs a lesson in dealing with clients and getting it right.
Service was good, food was average. The caesar salad was salty as were the onion rings which crunched with the salt. We have salt on the table so we can always add some, hard to take it away. Would like to see a return of the hot rock meals.
We held a fundraising dinner at Sul verde last night, for 50 people. a huge call out to Belle and the team, who did everything and more to make this a fantastic Occassion. The food was really good ( try the chocolate moose dessert, yum), and the table service for 3 courses was efficient and on time. Such a welcome surprise!Thank you Belle, for going over and above, you helped make this such a success.
Four friends enjoyed a great meal at Sul Verde on Saturday night, and what a hidden gem in Pennant Hills Bowling Club! Food was just beautiful, our steaks were melt in the mouth, and my husband ordered seafood which great too. A good wine list, and entrees of bruschetta and pizza very good too. Thoroughly recommend this Italian restaurant in the suburbs.
Being locals, we have wanted a great local dining venue where we can go. Since the new owners have taken over this restaurant at the Pennant Hills Bowling Club, the food has improved immensely and we just love going there for lunch and at the same time, you can watch people on the bowling green. I love the way they present their fish and chips with salad meal ($19.90). There is also a specials board with a smaller 'fish and chips' meal for $10 and a number of other specials on offer at $10. Have not tried the pizza oven out yet but that is on the agenda very soon. The family who are now running this restaurant also have Bel Fiore Italian restaurant at Dural which is equally very good.
