I had a fantastic experience at this charming pub! The food was delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and it was so pleasant to sit outside on a mild evening. The dumplings were amazing, and the sticky date pudding was absolutely divine. The fact that it was filled with locals speaks volumes about its quality.
This country pub offers excellent dining service and a variety of delicious wines, cocktails, and beers. The museum wine selection is also quite impressive.
Better than I expected. Nicely refurbished and maintained. Quality linens, comfortable bed, well presented. Shared facilities were spotless. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Self-service breakfast with plenty of options. Great staff attitude; easy going and service oriented. All in all easy to recommend.
We arrived at 7 o'clock. the inner area was about half full, the outer area was probably about half full. we waited in wait here to sit a sign for the old one. many employees in the opposite did not offer a word that they could be able to provide a table at any time in a foreseeable future. Finally, with some interventions we have acquired a table and menus, then we waited an eternality to take our order back with intervention. as soon as the order was taken, the waiting period for the meal was not excessively long and the meal times were delicious and well presented. drinks were well made. the it was cold (ac far too high.) a family asked to be pulled away from ac. another took their place. we wanted to be moved, but instead they turned off the ac, the new couple close said thanks, we were freezing. Waiting staff should be aware of this type of dingen before complaining to maintain comfort.
