Gambrinus Pub Grill - Penonome

Tasty burgers and solid menu, an interesting variety of local beers, great music choice, relaxed open terrace. If you are in Penonomé, this is a great place for lunch or dinner. Especially delicious was the currywurst and the rockin roll wrap.

Great place for a quick lunch. In the menu you will find wings, burgers, pommes, pastas and local specialties changed daily. I enjoyed the western potatoes and meatless version of Cesar Salat. They also offer a wide range of artisanal beers, alcohol drinks and homemade ice cream.

Unexpected pretty good. The food was delicious everywhere. Sausage and frit particularly good. Some craft beers (Central Guachiman, Casa Bruja Chivoperro, Lagunitas IPA).

My first trip here was a 3-star experience. My burger was fast and delicious. But I ordered another beer and wing from the bus boy. The beer came fast, but after waiting about 3 times the time for the burger I asked after the check. The wings appeared in a minute. The wings were overcooked (is that even possible? and the frescoes were cold. I'm talking cold from the refrigerator. I returned a second time and again my burger was pretty fast and delicious. So I upgraded to a 4 star. I can upgrade to a 5 star in the future after requesting some extra food that arrives in a reasonable time.

For expats and visitors: How can we be so happy to have a place like Gambrinus in Penonomé? The food is always great, the service attentive, and quality, hand-down, some of the best I get in Panama in my 10 years. No big burgers here! The beer selection is fantastic and the atmosphere is pleasant. This place is one for the record in Panamá. Great job!
