The lady at the to-go counter was absolutely rude. they forgot to start cooking our order and when we came to pick it up she tried to blame us (not sure how that even makes sense), even tho we came in and paid for it 2 hours prior. food was bland and underwhelming for the price. overall 0 stars if possible.

An old gas station converted to a unique local lunch place with good food and service.

Wow I’m so impressed. We are picky people. Only eat at local restaurants… for comparison our favorites (10+ yrs in the area) are New Yorker deli, polonza bistro, nest, doghouse etc. I’ve never tried east hill market because honestly it always looked closed (which maybe it was since their hours are 10-3 weekdays only). We walked in and placed a to go order at lunch time. They had our food ready in 10 minutes tops. Wow! Even with them being super busy. More importantly, the food was DELICIOUS. Spinach salad w homemade basil vinaigrette, chicken salad and the focaccia. Wow. My 4 yr old got the MASSIVE turkey and cheese sandwich. It was way too big for him but he was thrilled. We will definitely be coming back! Happy to find a new place to grab lunch close to the house. Thanks East Hill Market!

Get the Avocado sandwich (with chicken and jalapeños) or Papa’s meatballs. They make my favorite potato salad (best I’ve ever had) and pasta salad. Delicious!

Food is excellent. Loved the owner and Papa. Cuban coffee delish.
