Sumo Sushi - Pensacola

The new property is hospitable, knowledgeable and talented. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl (hadow it sharpen) for lunch. It was attractive as you can see, very tasty and fill. It was also very affordable. My friend ordered the Volcano Roll, who also looked brilliant. I recommend you stop and meet the new owner. I'm back.

The Gyoza was fresh, hot and really good. And the Katsu Chicken that comes as an appetizer was enough food to be my meal. The only Reeason I gave him 4 stars and not 5, is because the Restuarant is really small.

WOW! Best Sushi Square in America I've ever been! I traveled to Japan, which obviously has excellent sushi, and I can compare the two. Sumo Sushi has the freshest sushi I've ever tasted in the states. Great sushi, great prices! Location was not super easy to find. It is in the same amount as a large building (medical spa or condos, not quite sure). If it takes you an extra minute to find the place, it is worth it! The Mega Mega Roll and Albacore Roll are fantastic! Great service and the sushi cook is wonderful and really passionate about his work. Not from the area, but surely the number will go a place when I get back!

I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was very good and very fresh. I got a to go order and the wait was a little longer than I expected, but it was worth it! Will definitely be back again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. After I ordered I started reading reviews and saw a recent negative review about the shrimp tempura roll, which I ordered. I started getting a little nervous, but it was the best shrimp tempura roll I've ever eaten.
