Texas Roadhouse - Pensacola

Was ALWAYS my FAVORITE place to eat!...until last night! Went there to celebrate my mother-in-law, and father-in-law birthday, with a family of seven!...had a skip the line pass, all couples and a child...was RUDELY TOLD BY THE HOSTESS, we will only seat you for 6 people...even though the other was a minor child! My minor child said, I'll just wait in the car, knowing how much WE ALL LOVED THIS PLACE! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Needless to say we ALL left, went to OUTBACK and waited maybe 10 minutes, seated ALL OF US.. and had a WONDERFUL TIME!! Her attitude was so nasty, then she started gossiping with her other hostess!!!

This place struggles to produce. When we arrived we were told 20 minute wait. Got to the table in 40 minutes. Ordered food quickly and 70 minutes later got our 3 6oz sirloin steaks. Food was average. Way too many other good places to eat around here. We won't be back. Sunday afternoon.

My steak was more on the colder side. My fries were also cold. I believe they waited for all customer's food to be ready which caused this. Also my steak didn't have much flavour when compared to restaurants that don't specialize in steaks like Chili's and even Denny's!

Exceptional service. Waiting was long. The staff wore masks and served the guests outside the waiting list. Once you were sent a text to return the Hostess stand, you were taken directly to your table. My waiter, Erin, was great. She was attentive and punctual. She made big suggestions and I was satisfied with the service, the food and the price. I had her well-known yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. I chose fried pickles as an appetizer. I had the house salad with baked chicken and Italian dressing and enjoyed a raspberry lemonade for my drink. Everything was delicious.

8-27-2022: My wife chose TRH for her late birthday dinner tonight. Our first time in this place. Wait in about 4 minutes. Seated and servers soon came to our orders. Come in and everything was good. No surprises (a good thing today). Great food and great prices.
