There was nothing on the menu, but she worked with me and the sandwich was delicious! I would recommend this place for coffee, entertainment and a fast delicious meal!
That was a great find! If you are looking for a cozy, friendly hiding place to do work or meet with good friends, this is the place to do it. It is an old house where each room has its own personality. You can sit in a sun room or get away in a cozy corner. The staff is friendly and the food is also great. Our server ensured that we had everything we needed, and I worked there for about 4 hours without problems.
Thanks Shirley and David. Yours is a great coffee. With your delicious chocolate chip cookie. Thanks again, love your place in the bust.
Very picturesque and charming. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The waitress was very sweet, helpful and polite. I ordered a pastry I didn't care about trying, and she liked to turn it off for me. The white chocolate Macadamia nut cookie was delicious, but I didn't care about the mixed greens and carrots pastries or the Java bananas chocolate coconut muffin. The only reason I give him a 4/5 is because it was a little expensive for the portion size. This would be a great place to come on a cup of coffee and relax. Definitely a young and hip millenial type of hangout spot.
Shirley's Cafe and Bakery elicits a comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Filled with local artwork and eclectic furniture throughout, each room of this converted 100 year-old house are generates its own ambiance to match (or change) any mood. Fresh gluten-free options appear on Tuesdays and last until they are gone for the week. Gender-neutral restrooms are available. However the antique building is not handicap accessible at this time.
