True Grit American Bistro - Pensacola

Honestly, I had low expectations because a lot of the restaurants on this side of town aren’t that great. I wanted to go somewhere convenient and close to home so I decided to give True Grit a chance. I can’t speak for the other items on their menu, but I can say that the cheese burger mac is so good! There was absolutely nothing lacking from the dish. The macaroni noodles were cooked just right, not too soggy. The sauce to pasta ratio was perfect. Fresh tomatoes, fried bacon, and hamburger meat. Overall, just a really well put together dish. Two thumbs up, True Grit American Bistro!

Absolutely amazing place! Family run place and they treat you like family. Brandy is so sweet and she does a great job of making you feel welcome when you’re there.

Great place for breakfast. The portions are good and the flavors are too. Love the appreciation for the military and America. We’ll be back for more!

Excellent shrimp sausage bowl and my husband loved his sour dough bacon fried green tomato sandwich! We are glad we chose this cozy place for delicious food.
