The Penny Wine - Penshurst

We had a large group and all had a wonderful evening. Great food, service and relaxed atmosphere. Trevor happily worked around food allergies within the group.

Wow! what a jewel of a gaudenzi is weinbar. it is located in the small rural city penshurst, which is conveniently positioned to be an ideal starting point for a day trip to the grampians or to the coast to port fairy or warrnambool. over the street there are beautiful airbnb accommodation. on a Thursday, Friday or weekning gaudenzi weinbar would be an ideal place to go with a certain driver for lunch. the building is historical and has been renovated with obvious passion and love to detail beautifully. trevor is a very loyal host. the menu often changes to the front and check what is available. at our visit was the menu, from homemade chicken and leckpis with coleslaw, dressed with dijonnaise dressing and a delicious chutney, or a crisp bark puss with the same instructions, a small selection, but very much to our joy. trevor was obliged to put together a plate of cheese and fruit on my request. small nibbles are served with drinks and our little teer was a delicious tasty bite. this is more that only one place to eat or in its extensive list of weeping and beeing is an attraction in itself.

The food is wonderful. Definitely worth repeat business.

Great atmosphere and second to none service! Trevor you have done an outstanding job creating what is an absolute gem in a lovely country town which was the highlight of our sunny Sunday drive. Well done!
