This charming and authentic pub features a spacious beer garden at the back that offers a lovely sea view. The crab soup is outstanding and makes the visit worthwhile on its own. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a genuine tribute to the English pub—inviting and friendly, with excellent food. It's important to make a reservation ahead of time unless you're feeling particularly lucky. We relished the delicious crab soup, the light white fish starter, and the grilled fish, which was superb. We always visit this place whenever we're in Penzance/Newlyn, even if it's just for a beer, to soak in the warm, local atmosphere.

A straightforward and well-crafted pub experience. The rustic atmosphere overlooks the harbor, and the staff is friendly. We started with a crab soup, which was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I enjoyed the fish and chips, which were fresh and cooked to perfection. My partner opted for the homemade crab cake, which was also fresh and quite sizable. Overall, the food was excellent, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. A very enjoyable outing!

We have been here a few times in recent months and have really enjoyed every visit. Kindness and cleanliness are second to none. Recommend the food. The new landlords are very friendly and have done a wonderful job. We can't judge this pub high enough. It'll be back after time. Mick and Allister
