Trewellard Meadery - Penzance

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the genuine meadery experience. It was quite busy, but we had a table reserved. The food was served quickly, and the staff was wonderful—friendly, helpful, and attentive. We will definitely return in the future and highly recommend it for a fantastic night out!

What a wonderful dining experience! My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary tonight, and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly. The food was rustic, tasty, served hot, and came out really fast. We had never tried mead before, so the owner kindly let us sample a few flavors. We ended up ordering the cherry mead, which was delicious! I even bought a bottle to take home. It’s such a shame we don’t live nearby, as I would love to visit more often! In short, I highly recommend this place for a lovely meal.

The service was excellent, and the owner was very attentive. Three of us ordered the "huh in the rough," which was delicious but quite filling; I think I'll just go for a quarter portion next time. For starters, I had a delightful garn cocktail, reminiscent of those we enjoyed at Christmas back in the 80s. The food was simple yet wonderful, well-prepared and flavorful. I also tried some medaille, which was lovely, and the berry bread, which tasted like a dessert wine. Parking was a bit tricky since the meadery is located in a small village, but the owner kindly allowed us to park at her sister's place. Thank you to everyone for a great evening!

Was not sure what to expect, but it was an experience! medieval thema even to pull her huh to pieces with them finger! good part and cheap. if they suffer with their back would recommend that they ask for a table with proper chairs, as we found the pfoten very unpleasant.

Fantastic place to eat, good food and good sized portions. Very nice setting atmosphere as well, but be sure to book ahead since it probably be booked up. They also have a collection only take out menu which is also really good.
