Awful. The food was burnt n tasted like old oil. When I asked for a remake, she refused and refused to refund and threatened to call the law. Just awful service, never again
It 's not supposed to be a major 'dining experience ' it 's a place where you can get some great Chinese food. As long as its open, they can take my money and give me extra spicy Tai Chien chicken, and I 'll be happy. A little less grease on the egg rolls would be nice, but I 'm still ordering them.
I have been going to Chinatown Kitchen my entire life. It is one of those restaurants where you already know the food is going to be good even if the atmosphere may not be the best. I know from first hand experience that the food is homemade and fresh to order. They have the BEST crab rangoon in Peoria and many others will agree with me too. Some of my top favorites from this restaurant is their sesame chicken (spicy), mongolian beef and shrimp, and house special fried rice. The chicken is perfectly crispy and tender with the sweet, salty, and alittle spicy sauce. The mongolian beef and shrimp is cooked on a wok on high heat with carmelized onions bringing out the sweet onion aroma. The fried rice is very well priced given the amount of food you get. The prices are very reasonable considering the inflation of our economy and they have daily specials at the cost of a starbucks drink. I would 100% recommend this place.
They put rice under the entree to make it look like there is more of it and their rice is always undercooked.. .like it is crunchy
