Brothers Family - Peoria

I absolutely love discovering traditional diners, and Brothers is one of the best. Located in Peoria, just east of L101 on Peoria Avenue, the restaurant is situated in a strip center with plenty of parking available. I chose to sit at the counter, which had a charming diner vibe, complete with mirrored walls and a delightful dessert display case right in front of me. The creamy cakes on display were incredibly tempting! I went there for breakfast and ordered steak, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, and toast. The service was friendly and attentive, keeping my coffee cup filled throughout my meal. The steak was thin and tender, the eggs were fluffy, and the potatoes were perfectly roasted, not greasy at all.

This is one of those local cafe type restaurants that has great service and a wide array of food. They handled our party of ten like champs, and we all loved our choices. The price was fair and the meal sizes were good. Everyone in YOUR group should have no problem picking something they like to eat here. Good location as well. I don't live in the vicinity, but go out of my way to eat here.

Breakfast burritos are amazing!!! We had a large group, but we were seated quickly. The food was abundant, clean, and the staff was friendly. Plus, it was very affordable!

We stopped by in search of a quick lunch and were in the perfect mood for it. The food was fantastic, offering a variety of options for everyone! It’s a great pit stop with speedy service. A special thanks to Jeri for the excellent service!
