Good Tequila's Mexican Grill - Peoria

We've been dining at this restaurant for several years now. For my birthday yesterday, Good Tequilas kindly sent me a $25 gift certificate, as they have done in previous years. However, when I went to use it for dinner tonight, they refused to honor their own gift certificate! That's right—refused to accept it! They claimed they no longer accept those certificates. I mentioned that I had just received it two days ago, but then the cashier started to get a little defensive with me. It was a terrible experience! I will never return to this restaurant again and I do not recommend it at all! They just lost a loyal customer and don’t even realize it!

Very slow, wait staff was rude. Just because we don't look mexican does not mean we don't understand Spanish. Cursing your customers is not cool. Food was awful except for the rice. Who makes steak tacos with corn tortillas like taco bell (straightout of the box). Disgusting.

The world's smallest burrito should definitely be added to my menu. My friend had a delicious-looking stuffed burrito, but the manager insisted mine was the same. However, my rice and beans were outside of the tortilla, and it was basically smaller than an enchilada. The service was also disappointing; they wouldn't give us a refill on our drinks. While I will still visit other locations of this chain, I will avoid this specific one. If you're really in a pinch, go ahead and try it at your own risk. At least the chips were good!

Good food. Service staff was friendly and helpful but seemed like they had too many tables to be successful. Unfortunately prices are much higher as of late, but to be expected.

This restaurant is a total disappointment! The meals were served cold and lacked flavor. The cheese dip had a texture resembling wallpaper paste. The server-manager, Victor, had a poor attitude towards customers. I will definitely not be coming back! There are plenty of other great Mexican restaurants in the area where I would rather spend my money. I cannot recommend this place at all!
