Leo's Island Bbq - Peoria

This place is much more affordable than Ono's Hawaiian BBQ. Since I find the flavors to be pretty similar, I choose to come here to save some money!

I found a bug in my food! The chicken was overcooked, and the prices keep increasing. They tried to charge me $1.50 for just a half ounce of sauce. I'm done with this place—it's overpriced, the food is consistently overcooked, and who knows how many other bugs might have been in the meal. I ended up tossing it. What a waste!

I absolutely love this place! It's definitely our favorite spot for dining out. The food is incredibly delicious, and no matter what you order, it's always fantastic.

So good! Huge portions, juicy flavorful meat, creamy macaroni salad, delicious teriyaki sauce on fluffy rice. My family loved it. Will be back for sure.

I would definitely recommend avoiding this restaurant! I found a maggot in my cabbage, and when I tried to speak to an employee about it, she became confrontational and insisted that all she could offer me was a gift card as compensation. I repeatedly told her that I wasn’t interested in that since I would never return. Fortunately, another employee intervened and issued me a refund. It's really concerning that they clearly don't wash their cabbage!
