Ono Hawaiian Bbq - Peoria

This is the best fast food restaurant I've visited in a long time. The staff are always friendly, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and I never have to wait long to be served.

I am not particularly finicky when it comes to food, so I did enjoy my meal at this restaurant. However, I must say that the quality has declined since they first opened several years ago, around 2018, making it four years ago. I have visited about five times within the past three years, and unfortunately, the food keeps getting worse. I only gave it five stars because of the great experience I had when they first opened. The meat used to be juicy and tender, but now it is dry and not as satisfying. Even the macaroni and cheese does not live up to its previous standard. It seems that there is a lack of attention to detail and care in the current operation of the restaurant.

My wife loves their food. Drive thru window was barely legible. Some items were hand written and taped to it. Customer service at the window is pretty monotone.

The katsu chicken is amazing here, and don't forget to order extra macaroni salad. It reminds me of the plate lunches I had as a kid on Oahu. There's nothing better than a plate lunch after spending the day body surfing at Sandy's. My only suggestion is to bring back the roast beef, which used to be a popular plate lunch option. The restaurant is very clean and everyone is friendly.

Excellent customer service. Food prices are great for the amount you get. Fresh vegetables and perfect rice. Macaroni salad on point, so delicious.
