Portillo's Hot Dogs - Peoria

Great tasting food! There was an unbelievable long line in the drive thru but we got thru in no time at all!!!

Best hot dogs on the planet!!! I got the jumbo hotdog with all of the fix-ins, and it was SO flavorful!!! I also loved the vibe inside the restaurant, with a cool Chicago theme, and jazz music. I felt like I was transported to the 1950’s!

I bought a bunch of stuff here. We went here right after getting an ultrasound for my dog. The inside was nice and clean and people were polite. My sandwich wasn't wrapped correctly though. However, my dog didn't eat for a few days so we got a 6' beef just to hope he would try eating it after his not so good diagnosis. He did eat a few pieces of beef and had a bit of water. It was quite a relief to see him eat a bit even though we knew he wouldn't be getting better. Now I'll just always have this memory of this place as the last place Coal ate. I'm happy he did.

Absolutely delicious food! After many trips to Chicago I never tried Portillo! I'm glad they're here in Peoria! We just did at the Wildlife Scary Park for Halloween and were this meal plus this cakeshake? Chef? Unbelievable!

It's on the main road itself opposite the Northwoods Mall so it's pretty hard to miss and if you're in Peoria, you would definitely have happened. It has an amazing ambience of an American diner and there are various ways to sit here. I would highly recommend it for it?s ambience itself. We went there to search for vegetarian options and they only had an i.e. garden plant hot dog. It was nicely prepared, but I would rate it 4 out of 5, as I would have loved to be more spicy. This time I ordered a cold drink, although next time I look forward to ordering her shake.
