Portillo's Hot Dogs - Peoria

Absolutely delicious meal! After many trips to Chicago, I never tried Portillo?s! So glad they have one here in Peoria! We just got done at Wildlife Scary Park for Halloween and this meal plus that cake shake were ?chef?s kiss? incredible!

It?s located on the main road itself opposite the Northwoods mall therefore quite difficult to miss and If you are in Peoria you would definitely have passed by it. It has got an amazing ambience of an American Diner and there are various options to sitover here. I would highly recommend it for it?s ambience itself. We went there to search for vegetarian options and they onlyhad one i.e. Garden vegetable hot dog. It was nicely prepared yet I would rate it 4 out of 5 as I would have loved it to bemore spicy. This time I ordered a cold drink though next time I am looking forward to order their shakes.

Cool dining experience in this great decor of Chicagoland from the 1930s! The food is great and tasty from Chicago style hot dogs to tasty chicken and nice dessert treats, there is something here for the whole family in a fun atmosphere. The line movesquickly and there is plenty of seating and parking.

This place has the best milk shake I have ever had. The Cake Shake. As good as advertised. Very good cheese sauce. Also all the employees were very nice and the store was exceptionally clean. Amazing!

First time at a Portillo's, we were super excited but my goodness what a hot mess from order to finish. The Cashier was very friendly, but she couldn't hear the order and it was wrong. We had to go back three times to get a cheeseburger correct. Inwhich the two manager/crew leaders or whatever they were, gave my husband an attitude, while remaking the cheeseburger threetimes. The bread that came with the garden salad was hard like a brick, no flavor and the fountain soda was flat with nocarbonation. The only reason I gave this experience a 2 star, is because the restaurant was semi clean and the restrooms, wereclean and stocked.
