What a great place to stay, relax and unwind. Good facilities, friendly helpful staff and tasty fresh food. We took the day to wander the whole place and take in the history of the area, it was so Interesting. The staff were so friendly and helpful we decided to have lunch at the restaurant on site. What a lovely surprise the food was well presented, very fresh and tasty. It was delivered in a timely manner by a very pleasant young lady. I thought it was great value. We have done the basic camping with a camp kitchen and also stayed in the sheerers accommodation/bunk house... that was fun. We will return again soon to explore further
Great weekend under new management. Doing a great job with everything. Camping is great by the river you can fish and we could have a contained fire in the non powered site. Lots to see and do. A must do if you have kids. Horse and wagon rides, Sheep dog displays, Sheep shearing, A blacksmith on sit, Damper making and mini train to ride and so much more. A must do.
A great experience with lots of farming memorabilia. No food available on site on the day I visited but a cafe operates on the weekend. A trip down memory lane on visiting the 1940 50's classroom. A memorable visit.
Great day out for the whole family. Heaps of fun things to ride, from a miniature steam train to the horse drawn carriage; lots of museum pieces to explore; sheep dog and sheep shearing shows; damper making; a baby animals farmyard and lots more! Only negative is that there's not a lot of toilets around the place.
