Restaurant La Normandie - Perce

We were seated for a few minutes before our server came over to tell us the specials of the day. The couple who had been seated after us had already been told the specials. Okay, no problem. That happens. We took a couple of minutes to peruse the menu, then closed them, to indicate that we were ready to order. Our server went to several other tables. Sometimes to serve food or wine (he delivered cutlery to one table after they'd been given their main course). He cleared plates from a table that he wasn't serving. I'm pretty sure He saw that we were waiting to order. He chatted up a couple of tables, then disappeared into the kitchen. We sat patiently. And patiently. And patiently. After about 15 minutes, we got up to leave. The couple who arrived after us were eating their appetizers. The hostess saw us walking out and asked us what happened. We said that no one came to take our order. She was horrified, but for us, it was too late. So we left. The menu looked great, though. Great view, too.

We had dinner, restaurant was busy but we told the waiter we were not in a rush. comfortable chairs after a long day of hiking. courses came out at a great pace for us. everything was excellent. price is acceptable for this level of fine dining.

Nous étions venus en 1999 manger dans ce superbe restaurant un feuilleté au homard sauce champagne mémorable... Nous y sommes retournés pour le même plat, toujours aussi divin. Tout était parfait, les entrées, les plats, les desserts.. Bref une adresse à recommander qui, pour la qualité des mets et du service, n'est pas spécialement excessive.. Un incontournable de la grande cuisine au Québec et plus particulièrement à Percé...

Quel service incroyable! Plats exceptionnels, présentation esthétique, magnifique vue du Rocher Percé, ambiance relaxe et sereine...que des bravos!

Dit is een heel goed restaurant van het hotel La Normandie. De chef heeft ons verrast met combinaties die heel lekker waren en ons verrasten.
