La Rana - Pereira

If I didn't give them anything. The food is decent if you ever get it. We waited an hour for a preset menu of the day.

We stayed at a hotel near the bus stop of Pereira and we didn't want to take a taxi and go downtown, we discovered the restaurant La Rana just a few blocks away and we went for it. I have to say we had a very nice dinner there, with good food and a relaxing atmosphere. We were there on a weekday, it was not too crowded so we could have our meal outside in a terrace, enjoying the warm breeze of the evening. The menu is simple and meat is the main thing. I chose a pork fillet with a cream of mushrooms. The meat was tender and the cream added a special taste to the whole dish. The service was perfect, we were visited by a very nice waiter, it was a pleasure to talk to him. And we had a very special company: the beautiful cat Luna the restaurant owners, I loved to cuddle them while waiting for my food.

I love La Rana, is one of the best places in Pereira, it is in another area of town (a little colder), and you can have a great lunch with your family, or a great night of chill chat and drinks with your friends. The food is very good and has a good variety, also, is not at all expensive. Great place, great food and excellent crossover music that goes from disco to latin music. I love it. It is one of the most traditional restaurants in Pereira. Fully recommended.

This place is always consistent and a cut above the very very many other similar parilla places. Ingredients are good execution is good and service efficient and friendly. Recommended.

Good food in a fun sports bar. Mostly an open-air setting, although it sits strangely on a stripe center in a blazing position. Fun if you are in this part of the city.
