Contribuisci feedbackSince I discovered it more than three and a half years ago, it was my goal for birthdays, special events and customer dinners or dinners. The service is excellent and they have no high employee turnover. There are menus in English and Spanish. One of the best parts there are options for gluten free diets. Their meat plates have a salad (with real Romaine salad), vegetables and perhaps an Italian type of beans or potatoes. Definitely order a summer wine to accompany your meal, a balanced type of simple Sangria, not too sweet, but very refreshing. When I travel to Pereira, La Trattoria is my favorite place to eat.
Calm and cosy, with a very interesting menu and vegetarian options. It is not that easy to get there, but it totally worth it. They use wood oven and the pizza taste great! If you are anchovies fan, that's the place! Absolutely recommended
As this restaurant is ranked number 2 in Pereira by TripAdvisor I decided to give it a shot. The starter was pretty good (portobello mushrooms stuffed with cheese and ground meat but I was very disappointed by the lasagna. They were cheesy the way I like them but they were dry because there wasn’t enough bolognese sauce. The “tiramisu” was the biggest leg down... They had basically taken 4 lady fingers, dipped them in a bit of coffee (the edges were dry and hard , added a ridiculous small amount of mascarpone and sprinkled it with fake cocoa. The service was quick but when I asked the waitress for a coffee (I had seen the Nespresso capsules inside by the register she told me they only had ristretto which is too strong for my taste. I asked them if they had other capsules and she said they had some “azulitos”... I got a ristretto and when I got in by the register I saw they had livanto (which I love , arpeggio and more. I pointed them to her and she shrugged. So much for including the service in the check! Had I known she would have gotten no top whatsoever. Lesson learned. Do not trust trip advisor’s reviews in small towns! It was cheap so no regret but I definitely would not go back ;
Not the best ambience and the neighborhood not the safest. Sitting with some friends because it was recommended. The ingredients were not the freshest and pasta/pizza were average for poor, but I guess this can be the best you can get in pereira as so many good reviews. I tried Italian restaurants in Cartagena, Bogota and Medellin they were pretty decent. Anyway, would I come back? No! Would I recommend it? No service is not the best!
The food was excellent, the service was bad. Location not in a good area. The people who have reviewed English are wrong. No one speaks English. That wasn't a problem for me, but others wanted to know.
