La Fontaine d'Asie

The restaurant is conveniently located in the center of a charming Provencal village. eating is great and fresh. the setting is cozy and the owner always welcomes us with a big smile!

After 10 years of living in France, this was our first experience to eat in an Asian restaurant, and we were disappointed by the quality of eating, from beginning to end. that was nothing like eating that you can eat in a simple Chinese restaurant in Britain. we chose the menu at €20.90. my wife chose a prawn salad, garnished with two prawns, skillfully cut into the half to give the impression to be four. I chose the pigs who were very crispy on the outside, and spearly on pork on the inside. the duck main course was bland, and myhun was buried in a crispy coating and completely dry. desserts (ice cream and "gâteau coco)" were basically as expected. on the positive side, the restaurant was full, and there was a regular stream of people who come to collect tearing orders. the room was warm, and the owner had carefully arranged screens at the entrance to protect the tables closest to the door from unwilling hits. it was the owner who only occupied the restaurant with all the house, and he made a very good work. he was attentive and efficient. when we went through Pernes, there is little chance we'll come back. Of course, the restaurant meets the needs of the local population, but they could not count on us to repeat the business.

Delicious, generous portions, good value. popular with locals. great for lunch, I didn't eat dinner there.

Ate here twice during our stay in Pernes and had excellent meals on both occasions. The children (9 11) shared dishes from the main menu but a childrens menu was available. The service was good and friendly. Translation available for the menu which really...helped. Very busy on the Friday night that we visited so booking probably a good idea. Would highly recommend.

We bought take-aways which were very freshly made, gorgeous duck with pineapple. The spicy duck is not very hot. Menu selection is very comprehensive. Look forward to eating there again
