This is a good value patisserie which also serves a range of baguettes . It’s a good place to have a fast food meal on a budget . You can choose from a range of meal combination options. However The two sour faced women who were working here (2pm 29/4/19) were not only resistant to help but went out of their way to be rude and unhelpful . In spite of us doing our best to use french (my friend has been studying for quite a few years and is reasonable) I think they were pretending to not understand and being deliberately obstructive . Racism against English ? We may have been a little unsure of the menus but were very polite. And it was not at all busy. They served the few other french customers politely but their attitude towards us was very clear. Leaving my friends food heating up for so long that it was close to burning . While they stood staring directly at us . She was forced to go and ask for it . It’s a shame because all our other experiences in perpignan and especially in the surrounding mountains were mostly good . I certainly don’t expect friendliness all the time , people are human and sometimes have bad days. but these two cranky old women were the most unpleasant people serving I’ve encountered in many years ! I would eat there again but I’d go prepared to not take any attitude at all off those two.
