La Cabana - Perth Amboy

I found my experience very frustrating. I don't understand how a business can operate without having someone available to answer the phone who is bilingual. I don't speak much Spanish and wanted to order meat and cheese pupusas, but the lady I spoke to didn't understand me at all, which was incredibly frustrating. As a business, I believe it's essential to know some basic phrases in both languages. The food is delicious, which is why I keep coming back, but the ordering process is consistently challenging. At the very least, staff should be familiar with the menu items in both English and Spanish when answering the phone. I also ended up being hung up on multiple times due to the language barrier.

The chips and guacamole were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend ordering it if you go there. I tried the Baleada with a small salad, and it was just average. The staff member was very attentive and friendly.

The Salvadoran food here is amazing, especially the pupusas!
