Esther's Cake Shop - Perth

Reminded me of Breadtop bakery frogs, but this is a small house style bakery, looked like it was family-run. had a great selection of beautiful party cake for about $30. I noticed that they had something similar to the onion naan bread, so I decided to do it. it was the half of the size of the broth attachment used it early onsoon not the normal cut. as the half of the size it was also the half of the price, very dry with a sweet salty taste, not really for my taste

I went to esther’s cake shop today at 17.00. there were not many sorts to choose, understandably as it was quite late on the day already. to the left of the shop with only one ananasbunk that tasted decent. expect hong kong chaan teng style service from the workers. lol. brot was 2.5/5 service was -5/5. hahaha.

Cream and sponge cakes/slices are good. Had a full round Black Forest cake for a celebration and the cake has very nice flavours; not too sweet and sponge is light. However, their buns are quite dense and dry, especially the savoury ones. Egg tarts aren't the best, but still decent.

Esther's Cake Shop has been known for having good cakes and Asian pastry. So I do agree that, I have been going back many times to get some of my favourite bun from them. However, what I experienced yesterday was really making me feel sick about. Everyone might be thinking why make it a big deal. I went to get a Pandan cake for today's breakfast. And I am very sure it's only around 7:30, definitely not 8pm yet, which is their closing time. So I paid with $20 for a $7.50 cake. And I wanna get rid of my coins. and have more notes. Good quality bakery items to take away, and at reasonable prices too. A fairly typical Asian bakery that apparently provides custard tarts and other items to well known local restaurants. Many of the cakes and buns are light end airy. I've always had friendly, efficient service here.
