El Oasis De America - Peru

The most friendly and gentlest people work there! I'd just come back for her. And the food is delicious to super recommended!!!

Right next to the oasis of Huacachina, where most dull Buggy tours take you off. Very convenient for food, and the menu is filled with seafood! Try the frozen maracuyá, it is perfect after a hot day of sandboarding. The Ceviche mixto and arroz con marisco were surprisingly fresh and also good!

We skipped the street food in Huacachina today, but still tried to find the local place. We have this recommendation from the village we made a tour with, Mario. “Restaurant Oasis de América”. The place serves Peruvian food set, menu of days (S/ 20-25) together with other items on their regular menu. Very good! Very good! What I can say, this is probably as local as it could get if you around the Huacachina desert Oasis. We have Crema de rocoto with potato as an appetizer and rice with beef as our main dish. Good food but relatively small portions. We were here with a tour which included lunch.
