Jardins Gourmands - Pesmes

Just a few hours before going. they asked for a table on the river they gave us. eating was excellent and plentiful, the service attentive, but inconspicuous. a very good evening for everyone. next time I'm in France, I'll be back.

Pesmes is not really on the beaten track, despite its dramatic hill top fortifications, and les jardins gourmands are worth a visit if their wanderers take them here. at the riverside they are specialized in sweetwater fish that are very good....You have a good choice of local jura wines. puddings were made to house and good. the portions are polite and the prices are very reasonable. a good place to lunch.

Perched on the river banks they specialise in fresh water fish, which are very good....They have a good selection of the local Jura wines. Puddings were home made and good. Portions are copious and prices very reasonable. A good place to stop for lunch.

Stopped off here for lunch before climbing the stairs to explore Pesmes. Lots of of people in. We opted for the budget lunch option which proved to be a tasty 3 course lunch. A good honest meal well prepared and presented. We thought the service...was also excellent. Recommended on this visit. Great value for money.
