The Shuckery - Petaluma

Petaluma seafood must visit. My teen loved the snow crab and shrimp app and my best bite of the wknd was the fried oysters app. Cocktails and mocktail were totally fire and service was on-point and personable. Beef short-rib with parsnip mash+broccolini was absolutely delicious for a seafood joint. Do not miss this gem of an experience, especially the happy hour. Reservations recommended for dinner and a loud lively atmosphere during HH. Parking: Sidewalk or public parking lot nearby

Food was quite expensive. Short Rib for $40 had a surprisingly small serving of meat. The sauce could have had more flavor. People liked the Poke Bowl. Also they use cod in their fish dishes. For the prices, I expected better fish like Mahi or Halibut. It was a hot day and they don't have AC. It was really hot in the restaurant. I broke a sweat at one point. Recommend to go for happy hour before 6pm on a cool day. Oysters are $2 each and there are snacks/drink specials. Service was perfect.

The food was absolutely delicious!! loved it soo much and will definitely come back. And hopefully the service will be better (talking about the hostess)
