Charlotte Pantry - Peterborough

This is a fantastic little deli on the premises that always has everything you need in a hurry. The only thing I wish is that they stayed open a bit later, especially on weekends. If you haven't tried the 'ham n cheeser' for breakfast, I highly recommend it; it's delicious!

I used to really enjoy shopping at the pantry, but it feels like they are making it difficult for customers to keep coming back. The staff doesn’t wear masks, even though they handle open food. Additionally, it looks like cash is the only accepted payment method, and the debit card machine is always unreliable. I’ve left without my groceries far too often. I won’t be returning to this place again. Also, I agree with another reviewer who mentioned that they should hire people who understand the importance of good customer service.

The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful, especially the newer cashiers. I requested that the owner carry my favorite locally made buttertarts, and when I returned, they had them available for sale. They also sell a brand of potato chips made right here in Canada! I love that they are open every day except Christmas and that they employ people instead of using self-checkouts like larger stores. Keep up the fantastic work, Charlotte Pantry!

I visit the Charlotte Pantry several times a week. They offer an excellent variety of products, including many delicious house-made baked goods and sandwiches. The staff is also very friendly.
