McDonald's - Peterborough

The restaurant has a friendly staff inside, but do not use the drive-thru as it is the slowest I have ever experienced. I went in the morning for coffee and a muffin.

The service was friendly, as we had anticipated. The coffee was good and so was the carrot muffin. However, it was no surprise considering we live nearby. When I opened the breakfast burrito, it looked messy with not much filling inside. But then again, it was from the value menu.

I had breakfast at McDonald's on Saturday morning. The food was typical of what you would expect from the chain. The restaurant and washrooms were both clean.

Food was consistent with the chain. There were few clean tables. The service was TERRIBLE! I was in here twice on the Canada Day weekend and had to wait 10min for a simple beverage. The second visit I watched the staff person make it and set it nearby then get my pastry and place it with the beverage. Then she walked away! 8min later after 3 others that came up behind me and had their ordered, I asked just how long they were going to have my order sit there! the person that made it just gave me a dirty look, a staff person that was off shift came over, gave me the "canned" apology and handed me my order. The latte was now cold and whipped cream gone. Just RANK TERRIBLE SERVICE by undercaring staff.

The Jolly burger this past Christmas season was the best burger McD's has come up with in a long time. Please make those babies all year
